Catching up

I'm finally back! I am way behind on reading blogs so I will catch up shortly. I hope everyone had a nice Easter weekend.

So this is Pitou, the Jack Russell terrier my mom dog-sat for a few weeks ago. Pitou's people had her spend the night at his house so he wouldn't get lonely! Hey, what about me?? They tried to introduce us but Pitou growled and barked at me. I guess he is not "fixed" - I think his attitude needs to be fixed. They are going to try to introduce us again later. My mom might be taking care of him some this summer. He has a big swanky house with a HUGE backyard, so it would be nice if I could come too.

I got a gift in the mail from my buddy Keeley - on HIS birthday! He is an Irish terrier and he was born on St. Patrick's Day. And he sent home-made cookies to celebrate! They were super-tasty and even vegetarian, like me!

Thanks so much, Keeley! That was really nice of you! Happy birthday!!

I got to eat a lot of the cookies on Easter. My humans put them inside of the plastic Easter eggs for me to find. Last year this worked fine. This year I noticed that they kept stealing the egg shells away from me after I opened them and was chewing on the treat. Obviously, they were something I was not supposed to eat, so I started trying to eat them too. Not a good idea. That ended the hunt pretty quickly.

My friend Lacylulu

Lacylulu suddenly crossed the Rainbow Bridge today. She always stuck up for those doggies and other animals who didn't have a voice. Thank you Lacy! We will miss you and you will always be in my heart!

I'm back!

Hey everyone - I'm back blogging and slowly catching up on everyone's adventures this past week or two. I had a great weekend. My grandparents came out from New Hampshire just to see me. Here's me and my nana cuddling on the couch.

Okay, so actually, my grand-people came out to see my parents too. They had never been to one of my dad's concerts before, and my dad conducted the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra on Friday. It was a concert featuring the ISO with high school students who auditioned to be part of a special side-by-side orchestra program.

They played a piece written by Leonard Bernstein, the original "Lenny"!

It was a very fun weekend. We did find out some bad news though. My "camp" where I board went out of business last month! We don't know why but I can't go there anymore. So I need to find a nice person to take care of me because the only other place in town took very BAD care of me. So I guess I will just have to travel everywhere with my people.

Awesome WFT

My dad has a big concert this weekend and my people have been hogging the computer trying to arrange everything, so I haven't been able to blog. There are a lot of people coming to visit just for the concert and I get to see my nana and grandpa (the OTHER ones) this weekend! So until I get to do a real blog entry again, please enjoy this DEATH METAL DOG!

UPDATE: No, it's not me in the video. :)

Scaredy-Dog

My parents didn't come home until late last night, and when they did, they couldn't find me!

I was hiding in the coat closet.

I hate loud beeping noises (like cell phones) and the smoke detector had been beeping all evening, because it was low on batteries. I was terrified. I managed to get in the closet, on top of a little cabinet, and between the coats.

I was glad when they came home.

Go Mom!

My mom saw this little ad with a WFT at PetCo for some kind of canned pet food. I think ALL WFTs should be allowed to sit at the dinner table!

Thanks everyone for your support - my mom finished her 10K! Congrats Mom! I am glad she is home from Ohio. She said she saw lots of dogs while she was out canvassing - a doxie, a westie, a Wheaten terrier, 2 boxers, and a big white poodle.

Tonight she is bringing me to some lady's house to meet Pitou, a Jack Russell terrier. My mom might be dog-sitting for Pitou this weekend.
