Paw-Limpics: Our buddies the cats

I'm not afraid of new and different things. I recently made new NOMSS friends over at the Cat Realm, when they graciously asked me to be a dog judge of the I DARE YOU ALL challenge! (Check it out, I dare you!) I'm even allergic to cats but I was very pleased to make my new cat friends.

And I'm sure there are many other dogs out there with cat buddies. See, we can all get along! For instance, you might remember Boru snuggling up with his late brother Chance in this medal-winning photo:

Well, there were other submissions by cats to the Paw-Limpic games. There were a nice variety, and I want to honor our cat-letes today!

Exhibition Event - Sumo Wrestling!

Sadly, the final official event of the Paw-Limpic Games is here. But don't worry. Tomorrow I will be posting some of the entries that didn't fall into one of our categories, or that we didn't have enough entries to compete. Photoshop! Cats! Video! And of course, I will soon reveal the results of the voting for the "Dogs' Choice" Awards.

Synchronized Teams Event

Athletes were invited to submit "Synchronized" entries for any of our events. This involves a pair or team of dogs doing the same activity together, in unison. We received a wide variety of excellent entries!

Congratulations to the lovely Lacie for her gold medal in Synchronized Swimming!

Toffee and Riley captured the silver medal in Synchronized Begging!

Amber-Mae and her team won the bronze medal in Synchronized Swimming!

The judges also awarded an "Honorable Mention" to Bogart and Sweepy for their Synchronized Eating entry!
