Happy fall!

Can you believe it's almost December? It's started to get a little bit chilly here, and my mom decided to try to get a nice fall picture of me before all of the leaves were gone.

It was VERY chilly in Ohio over Thanksgiving. I had a great time and I have some pictures to share - I'll put them up soon, probably tomorrow. My grandma took me on really long walks every day. No turkey for me, but I did get a chewy bone.

And then we got back, and I had to go right to the vet!! My paws are infected again, so he gave me some medicine so I won't lick them all the time anymore. I got my rabies shot also. My doctor is very nice, but I didn't like one thing he said. My mom told him that I was eating meat now, and he said I should GO VEGGIE again!!! He thought it was great that I was vegetarian. He is a vegetarian, and his dogs are vegetarian, and he said it couldn't hurt my allergies if I didn't eat meat. Hmphf. At least he said I could eat carrots for my treats. (What am I, a horse?)

I'm so glad that you are starting to receive the holiday cards! They are going out in waves, so please don't feel badly if you haven't gotten yours yet. I can't wait to start receiving them! This is so much fun!

So nice to meet you! I got your holiday card in the mail yesterday. I love getting things addressed to me! My girl let me sniff it but she wouldn't let me bite it. Then she took it away and hung it on the door.
What kind of allergies do you have? I used to always have all this gunk in my eyes and liked to bite at my paws. Then my girl switched my diet to Raw. That might sound gross to your dad but there's also a really yummy grain-free kibble called Instinct which I highly recommend! It's more expensive but you're supposed to eat a lot less of it than normal kibble because it's got so much less filler. Here's it's website if you want to check it out: http://www.naturesvariety.com/
Woof,
Keeley
PS my girl loved your halloween costumes!

Hi Lenny nice to meet you. I got your card today. Thanks. Hey I used to have allergies also and my mom also put me on raw and when she isn't doing that then she also gives me a grain-free kibble but a different one then Keeley gets. Oh am my mom says she shudders at the thought of dogs on a vegetarian diet since that isn't what we are meant to eat but your parents have to do what they feel comfortable with and it looks like they take great care of you which is what's the most important. Maybe you just need to try a different kind of meat.
I will come back and visit again.

Hi Lenny....Thanks for stopping by. You pronounce my name SEE-DRA like the sea/ocean.

My human brother named me. I am 8 years old and at that time pokemon cards were popular and he picked my name from a pokemon character. Mom thought it was a beautiful name so she allowed him to name me that. I bet you will never meet another dog named Seadra.

Your Friend, Seadra

Hi there Lenny,
My first Christmas arrived today and it was from you! I loved it and my human loved it too. She also loved the beautiful stamps of Louis Comfort Tiffany. My human has a Tiffany calendar on the wall in the bedroom and the pictures are the first thing she sees each day. Thanks, eh, for the great card. Merry Christmas!

That's a great picture Lenny!

Do you ever go to the College Mall Vets? My sister, Sophie, hangs out there with her mom, my Aunt Karen, sometimes.

Howroo Lenny,
We just got your Christmas card today, you tied with Comet & Blu, woo pups sure are fast! Our mama just spent the whole weekend designing ours, she said as soon as she gets envelopes & labels we'll be good to go (oh yeah, and stamps...)
Your card was so nice, and we all really appreciate the cool picture of woo (our daddy laughed & said "which one's the real one?")
We're so sorry to read about your itchy foots, but have to agree with Erin & Peanut, our humans put us on raw about 2 months ago & it seems to have cleared up all sorts of problems, tummy issues, itchy spots, and our coats have never been more beewootiful. One of the ingredients of the breakfast glop she mixes up for us is Apple Cider Vinegar. Just this weekend she asked herself "why vinegar?". It was part of the recipe she found, but she decided to look it up online, apparently it is the magic elixer, with all kinds of amazing properties for skin, allergies & digestion, for both 2-legs & 4. If your humans are firm on the veggie diet you might have them look into at least adding some of that to your diet & see if it helps. What mama read said you can add 3 tsp to your water, you'll barely even be able to taste it but will still get the benefit. Just make sure it's apple cider & not the other kind, yukky. If your humans want to try you out on the glop just drop us a note & we'll send you the recipe (you can use white meats, don't have to have red).
Sorry for going on so long, stop by and visit us sometime. And thanks again for the cute card.

Hello Lenny, We eat meat for our food. Of course, we don't eat too much beef at all, since our cousin is allergic to beef. Our mother always is telling people that we eat better than she does. ruff ruff... anyway, we have a wide variety of meat and our coats are great looking. Katie has allergies and they went away once we got on to the meat. I hope you can keep eating meat. btw, we HATE carrots!!

Hi Lenny,

What beatiful leavs you are sitting on. The ones here are getting all yucky already. Guess we waited too long to get a good picture, oops. So sorry about the vet visit. It's no fun getting shots or having your vet say go veggie again. I know how much you were enjoying your yummy meat filled entrees. You are doing so good getting your holiday cards out. We finished out International cards tonight, and we'll start on our domestic cards tomorrow. I'm having so much fun doing this, isn't it the BEST getting mail? I love it!

Your pal,
Kirby
