Dunkin' Donuts

Hello friends!

My mom is a very happy woman, because I am a good detective. Let me tell you why.

It all started because Jackson asked what a Dunkin' Donuts Munchkin was, so I wanted to find a picture to share the yummy goodness with my friends. Munchkins are the holes out of the middle of the donut! They come in different flavors, but usually they give me a glazed one going through the drive-thru. They are about 2" or 5 cm in diameter.

My mom loves Coffee Coolattas, which are kind of similar to Frappucinos, I'm told. I wouldn't know because she HOGS hers and doesn't share. Looking for a picture of a Coolatta, I was exploring dunkindonuts.com and noticed a "Store Finder" feature. My mom has visited this site many times, hoping a local Dunkin' Donuts would magically appear, but it has never happened.

Being a good sleuth, I typed in my zip code, and Voila! Indiana now has a Dunkin' Donuts!

It is almost 40 miles (64 kilometers) away from where I live, but my mom is SOOOO happy!
Archie and Agatha were nice enough to offer to ship my mom some DD coffee from Boston, but now she can get her fix on her own! Thanks though, guys. Archie has dislocated knee caps - ouch! - so I hope all of his foxy nurse friends are taking good care of him. Feel better, Archie!

Around here, there is a Starbucks on every corner, just like in a lot of other places. But in New England, there is a Dunkin' Donuts on every corner. So not only is my mom happy about delicious Coolattas, it is like a little piece of "home" for her.

Aren't I a good dog? I think I really deserve a sip of that Coolatta, if not a giant bone!

Wahoo... Lenny you are a superstar! Coolatta sounds kinda good, but I've never had one. Round here in Seattle, we have a Starbucks every 1/2 block hehehehheheee across the street from each others, in the grocery stores, in the gym, at the gas stations, even at my dog park!

Yes we do think you deserve a big bone. You are being such a good boy. Mom says we are only good when we are sleeping.. I guess we are a little bit hyper...

Hi, Lenny. Thanks for stopping by my blog. My mom says she LOVES Dunkin' Donuts coffee, too. We need more. Maybe we'll try that instead of Starbucks. Not that I get any, but I like the smell first thing in the morning. Really gets me up and out.

Love, Mary-Margaret

We see Dunkin Donuts when we go for car rides but never got to stop and didn't know what was inside. Those look amazing! Now all we have to do is get the girl to stop and buy us some.

Hi Lenny,

My mommy always say: I lick on the lips, forever on the hips...I don't know what that means...it must be a "woman" thing... but enjoy while it lasts...

There used to be Dunkin' Donuts around until Krispy Kreme flooded into Indiana. Now, that Krispy Kreme is closing down some spots, DD are coming back. We'll have to go let mom try out that coffee. It looks right up her alley!

Thanks for the explanation pal. As you can see I think I'm being neglected on the doughnut front. I never knew the holes has a name! I think your top-notch detective work definitely needs rewarding. I'm just off to find out where I can get my paws on some munchkins! J x

Lenny, how do you keep your weight under control when you're given munchkins? I haven't figured that out yet myself.
